About iLovePass

iLovePass offers free password-related tools: generators, strength checkers, breach checkers, encoders, and developer utilities.

All tools run 100% in your browser using crypto.getRandomValues() and crypto.subtle, the native cryptographic APIs. We have no database, we do not store passwords, we do not require signup, and we do not use tracking cookies.

Documented exception: the breach checker queries the public Have I Been Pwned API with k-anonymity — we only send the first 5 characters of your password's SHA-1 hash, never the password itself.

Some links on this site are affiliate links to password managers like Bitwarden, 1Password, and Proton Pass. If you subscribe to one of these services through our link, we receive a commission.

This represents no additional cost to you — you pay exactly the same as if you went directly. Commissions help us keep iLovePass free and free of intrusive advertising.

All iLovePass source code is publicly available on GitHub. You can verify exactly how we process your passwords, what network requests each tool makes, and report any issue or suggestion.
